Video editing involves a wide range of post-production processes, such as designing motion graphics like titles and logos, as well as implementing music and voice-overs. It is more than just putting together raw footage.
A video editor can improve low-quality raw footage by adjusting things like color balance, contrast, brightness, and even audio level. If the video is shaky, the editor can stabilize it to make the video more watchable.
For every minute of completed footage, basic editing typically takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Therefore, allow 1 to 2 hours for every minute of video if a complex and fine-tuned edit is wanted.
