A Major Step Towards Renewable Energy

Behind the Production of Farel Plastics’ Photovoltaic Power Plant Film

As And Dreams Digital, we are honoured to contribute to forward-thinking organisations that invest in environmental responsibility and sustainable growth. One of our most comprehensive industrial production projects to date has been the creation of the official film for Farel Plastics’ photovoltaic power plant located in Kırkdönüm Village, Ahlat, Bitlis.

A Sustainable Investment with Long-Term Vision

Farel Plastics, a member of the Wirthwein Group, commissioned a solar power plant installed with a capacity of 8,821.8 kWp across 130,000 m² of land. This large-scale investment was initiated in November 2024 and successfully completed in April 2025 despite severe winter conditions in the region.

From commissioning until 31 October 2025, the plant generated 7.5 GWh of renewable electricity, enabling Farel’s Çerkezköy facility to meet nearly 90% of its total energy demand through self-produced clean energy. This output reflects a significant reduction in environmental impact, carbon emissions and dependency on conventional energy sources.

Our Production Strategy and Approach

And Dreams Digital designed the production process around three core principles: authenticity, technical accuracy, and visual impact.

1. Pre-Production Planning

Before filming, our team conducted:

  • site analyses,
  • location scouting,
  • technical interviews with engineers,
  • script and storyboard development.

Our goal was to build a narrative that combined both the technological depth and environmental significance of the project.

2. On-Site Cinematography

Filming took place under dynamic natural light and challenging terrain. We employed:

  • aerial drone cinematography to capture large-field geometry,
  • controlled stabilised shots for panel rows,
  • time-lapse sequences to document operational activity,
  • ultra-wide lens imaging to emphasise scale.

We also focused on the human element operators, workers, and engineers highlighting their contribution to this milestone.

3. Post-Production Excellence

In the editing phase, we shaped a visual story that emphasised clarity, scale, and purpose.

Our process included:

  • colour calibration for natural solar-field tones,
  • motion stabilisation,
  • structured narration and subtitle support,
  • environmental sound design combined with a cinematic score.

Why This Project Matters

This investment is not merely a technical achievement. It represents Farel Plastics’ alignment with global sustainability principles and the Wirthwein Group’s broader environmental commitments.

For us, telling this story through impactful visuals was both a privilege and a responsibility. Industrial sustainability projects hold profound importance, and effectively communicating them contributes to broader awareness of renewable energy.

The photovoltaic power plant project stands as a milestone for both Farel Plastics and And Dreams Digital. It demonstrates the potential of clean energy, the power of responsible production, and the value of high-quality industrial storytelling.

We are proud to have created this film and look forward to supporting similar sustainability-driven initiatives in the future.
