A Visual Journey from Ahlat to Mount Nemrut

Some productions are designed solely to meet a brief, and that’s totally understandable. Others evolve into something deeper, something more meaningful. Our recent project in Ahlat and on Mount Nemrut is a perfect example of this.

We all know how it is when you originally plan a project to be all about production, but then you just can’t help but let your creative juices flow and end up doing something totally different, which is what happened in this case. The end result was an artistic collaboration that was all about the environment, perspective and shared creative values. We had such a lovely time exploring how visual production can move beyond documentation and become a form of art in its own right, together with Ömer Burhanoğlu.

A Landscape That We Should All Respect

Ahlat and Mount Nemrut are more than just places they’re a sight to behold. Their historical depth, textures and natural geometry are best shown off by keeping a simple and elegant look. From the very start, we were totally committed to an approach that would allow the environment to inform and direct the composition.

Instead of going for overly dramatic colours or heavy visual effects, we focused on achieving a sense of balance, effective framing and clear intention. Every shot was planned to respect the silence, scale and character of the landscape.

We are so excited to tell you about our Artistic Collaboration!

One of the best things about this project was how Ömer Burhanoğlu approached art. We were so happy when we found him, because he has such a sensitive eye, he’s so patient in the creative process, and he believes in simplicity. All of that matches our production philosophy perfectly.

We all shared the same mindset, which made working together a breeze! We made decisions based on feeling as much as technique, and it felt great. The result was a series of photographs that feel so deliberate, calm and confident just how they should!

Post-production is such fun when you do it with discipline!

When we were editing, we decided to keep each visual to no more than three dominant colours. This restriction wasn’t a limitation at all, but a creative tool. We carefully selected colour palettes and enhanced sharpness with precision, creating a space where textures, forms and subtle contrasts could thrive.

The idea was to keep things simple and clear, rather than going for super intense. Every adjustment was made to enhance the composition, and it’s truly heartening to see the way it came together.

A Journey From The Digital World To The Physical One

I’m so happy to tell you that the most rewarding outcome of this project is where these images now live. It’s so lovely to see how many of the photographs are on display in the management offices of the Farel factory. It’s a really special way to bring a touch of art to professional spaces.

We used some pretty fancy UV printing technology to make them, which is really impressive! I’m so pleased to tell you that this method ensures exceptional colour accuracy, surface depth and long-term durability. This means that the visuals will stay looking great for a really long time!

We really believe in this, and we hope you will too. We think production and art can exist together. If you treat every project with care, discipline and respect for detail, you can create something really special.

We don’t just go through the motions of completing assignments.
We make things that have a lot of meaning, even after they’ve been delivered.

We can’t thank Ömer Burhanoğlu enough for his vision, contribution and trust throughout this journey.
